My VERY 1st HS Schedule

This is my very 1st HS schedule! There are four boxes across the top that say Term Q1 whtever tht means?? Under that it says how long each quater/term lasts. Then on the side it has 5 boxes .... the # 1 thru 4 and a empty home section for homebase which we get in the fall.
So for my first "term" I have:

OMG!!

Today there is only 1 1/2 days of school left!! Let me fill you in on wht hyappened, on Monday we did NADA and Tuesday the entire eighth grade went to Funtown and it was wicked fun. Wedsenday YEARBOOKSS!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY and Thursday HS step up day and we had a talnet show and...(suspenseful music...) WE GOT OUR SCHELDUES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 Weeks of School left

Sry to anyone that is a big fan of my blog which I highly doubt...Anyway sry for not blogging in like ages. I've been having trouble with these 2 girls. Anyway there's only 3wks of school left and I'm anticaptaing my scheclde which i should get nxt wk.Also there's only 3 weeks of school left!!!!!!!!!!! YES can't wait till it's over. Amercian Idol

I know this supposed to be about my first year of HS. But I can't help but mention AI becuz to tell u the truth it has totally bummed me out. This is the first season that I don't really like. And I find myself straying away from the TV...:( Anyway so there are 3 people left...dah dum *scary music* and I honestly want David A to win. David C gets on my nerves the way he acts so little kiddish and just argh ANNOYING!!?? Also Syesha I like her I guess but she's sooo bubbly?? And anyway I hope either Syesha or Dave A wins. Besides that I could really care less! ANd thats all for now! Also I'm seeking advice for revenge and dealing w/bullys soo lemme know!!

Today

Today is a Tuesday and I am trying to find something to do!! Trying to figure out why nobody likes me in school and why everyone is soo freakin mean and punky! Anyway talk 2 yall l8r:) only 42 days of 8th grade left counting wknds:))))

VACATION

Today is our last day before we have summer vacation:) and I'm sooooo excited. But I don't have anybody coming over to my house to sleepover or hangout:( but thats okay I'll survive. Cuz guess wht...!!! my sisters r taking me dress shopping nxt saturday. Well friday night I'm spenidng the night @ Angies house then were driving bck down 2 my house and all the girls r meeting there adn then were going dress SHOPPING!! yayay

The Day Music Died

Today in Social Studies we learned about the day music died.....actually that's what we watched people sing.Like Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, and Ritchie something it was very intresting:) But everyone says that Mr.L looks like The big Bopper? not really more like Mr.Morong w/his big square head:)

Officlally Over

Today Is Done And Over With!! But I ahd a really GREAT time and I actually learned alot. Alex is such a sweetheart! And he seems to be soo shy but he opened right up after about 15 mins g2g SHOPPING!

Day Over

The day is over today and I'm sitting here chill'laxin and doin' nothin' ya I know I'm preety physced to say that after this were going 2 Aero and yayyy!!! So for lunch we went to "The Mineral Cafe" were it's like a culinary arts program that the senirors can do and they make all the food and serve it. It kinda took like 20mins for them to serve us. AND the AWSOME thing is that it's in the school!! There were a bunch of old ladys in the cafe they were from the "Purple Hats'' program? kinda weird they were wearing everyting PURPLE and then they ahd these humgo hats that had like veils and were like purple and red. I got a BLT and "home'' salad and 4 desert mint choco chip ice cream pie. It was sooooo good and now were sitting in Mel's room with her friend? Alex. He's really nice!! mel says he has a bad life. Basically he reminds me of "cinderella". so anyway now another guy's here cody hes a MAJOR flirt. With me and mel I think its kinda funny but ya. Then I met Drew the teacher mel teaches w/aka hes from the freakin NFL!!! sooo umm ya hes HILAROUS!! and well the cody guy hes okay he used to do bad stuff ...now he turned good i think its preety sweet! now anyway...im doing nada...gonna hang out w/every1

7 & 8 Periods Preparing Myself

Mel say's this is her biggest class yet and and so far all the seats are filled. Intresting selection of people and alot of blu hoodies? Very hyper and loud just yet and Mel has the strict voice on...and I honestly could repeat wht she's saying but thts k:) Okay people stats
First row first kid gurl who is hunched over and she looks like a dog:) and then curly blonde w/glasses nxt blondie boy w/glasses Harry Potter freak:)? gurl nxt 2 him semi gothic? nxt shaggy haired scary kid beside him gothic asian gurl. nxt fro guy w/ fro and then a group of gurls(3) blu tshirt gurl w/leggings and gurl w/pink tee all WICKED smart!! "mel says" then a gurl all by herself who has a skewl logo sweatshirt on then the bac sk8r guys baggy pants and layered hair shaggilicous. in the back flirty couples long hair and curly hair jock cute gurl smart gurl mel says and then "the web" ? short and kinda cute then theres a kid in a red shirt who i cant see. then the guys near me who have actually said stuff 2 me unlike any1 else and sooo ya thats the homies in this period. And as the bell rings the last period starts tio filter in...so far I haven't been asked any questions. 3rd period was the best class yet because one they actually worked and they actually finished all there work:) and now here comes the next period

3rd period right now....poeple stats coming up alright 1st row 1st seat cute kinda bookworm nice like alex type. Next table shy quiet kid w/ camo pants and beside him Mel's buddy lil Asian guy looks like a sweetie:) Nxt table curly brown haired gurl looks like a smrt hard worker nxt 2 her blonde guy quiet. Nxt row goth or emo gurl nxt 2 her obnoxious guy w/cocky grin nxt table kinda like a blonde version of idk some1 kina cliquey buzz cut miltary guy nxt 2 her and nxt tall blonde guy and he seems kinda funny last row in the back BIG TALL guy w/ an attitude nxt 2 him guy w/ lumberjackish jacket and nxt gurl is like freakin Tinkerbell shes like mini and then gurl w/winter jacket? ohh i forgot the table closest 2 me is a jocky version of Bobby from last yr and hes funny!! nxt 2 him semi nerdy gurl. think shes tryin 2 flirt w/ him? and thts the peeps in 3rd period. the asian guy looks soo nice hes seem shy and quiet a faint pink blush is creeping up on his face when Mel goes by awww and in walked somebody I missed a big version of Matt Mculure and hes OBNOXIOUS ooops:) thts all 4 now

2nd Period ...good or bad?

Curiously wondering about this period? Know there discussing what you shouldn't say to a "lady" lol this day is full of surpises and I'm hungry. Soo lets see theres in the front row blonde girl looks nice next to her a guy w/a fro and humor next to him kind of cute jock and then other kid bangs sooo long cna't see his face then a boy who looks like a bloodhound sry:) nxt row big guy nice? leather gloves guy nxt 2 im long bangs again! and glasses and table in the middle can't see:( table closest to me loudmouth shes the 1 w/a tall BFFL and then kinda jocky gurl whos a ponytail gurl. The very back blonde girl or guy? noit sure glasses more and gurl w/red piggytails and good worker it looks like. And taking up the long table in the back guy w/blc hair and tall gurl(BFFL buddies) w/kute Abercombie sweatshirt. Then semi-swt lookin guy beside her w/jocky like atmosphere then a blonde and gurl who broke her arm in 2places ouch. and thts 2nd period!

As The Bell Rings....

And second period files in I'm waiting usual assortment sk8ers and some jockish and ohhh cute one tall jocky and he reminds me of jacob. Lots of diff people I gotta say. Everyones soo short? Weird didn't expecct that...actually the cutes guys face is kinda narrow? Lots of makeup escipally mascara. Mel has this awsome sign on her door that says Break the <3 and stop P.D.A lol thats a good laugh... teachers @ BEMS need that!.......bell just rang this period is starting and Mel's not here? weird hope they don't think I'm there sub. Funny how these 2 BFFL's r Tall n skinny and short and umm..kind round starting brb

1st Class

So here I am confuzzeled and curious! What gave my sister the urge to actually become a teacher and....ya so anyway her 1st period is crazy:) but I'm really proud of Mel because shes like THE GREATEST teacher ever!! I mean she totally knows like what she's talking about and she is sooo IN CONTROL like my science teacher @ BEMS is like the worst teacher she can't control anybody and like she has no idea what she's talking about!! And now 1st period is leaving...so what will 2nd period be like I wonder?

As we speak I'm waiting for Mel to come back from the copy room with copies of stuff for her kiddos and its actually 7:05 and shes not hear and I just heard a locker slam..yikes okay now im kinda scared anyway c u l8r:)

Job Shadowing Mel

Today actually funny as it is I'm job shadowing my sister who teaches "World Culture" to frehsman...I'll leave you with that thought:) and sooo this should be intresting I suppose? Actually I'm very excited!!I can't wait to meet all the freshman hopefully they'll give me advice on my upcoming freshman year?.. thats all for now c u in the PM with an update on my day as an almost freshman?

Registering Process

K back on that whole registering thing... we go up and sit w/ the guidance counsler? and she asks us for the #of the course that were taking and then she reads them back to us. Then we go sit down and GET THIS the best part of all is that it's not alphabetical. This is soooo exciting because my last names Welch and IM ALWAYS at the end of the line. so anyway I was preety pumped!!! and so now were sitting here prentending to be working and I'm just working on this blog... sonow i wonder what and will I get my classes. And no offense but the lady who is doing our courses strangely reminds me of a chicken large and "fluffy"on the top and on the bottom her legs r teeny tiny and well her glasses are like the size of pears...so not to be mean or anything but that was well in intresting.....:)

Electives

Okay as I mentioned early on my "course selection" sheet I have to take elctives. I'm still scratching ym head on what exactly those are. For one why can't they just be called Extra Fun classes or something? Anyway get this.....mandatory classes are worth one credit right right but Electives are only worth .5? And exactly how does that make sense and we have to register with at least 7 to 8 credits and I just read that and I ahev 9 great im gonna be kicked outta HS:( so anyway....if I actually make it to high school thats the stats...over and out

Classes

The mandatory classes we have to take are Global Village? Social Studies seriously do you think if you give it a new name people r suddenly going to jump and down because of the new name? then theres English 9 english plain ole boring health Lab Earth Science as long as we don't disect anyhting im good:). And then the newest puzzle Freshman Focus? A big get 2ghtr of all the freshman were we moan and groan about HS? thens theres of course PE:(. and seriously since when do u get to pick wht kind of gym we take like Team Sports, Lifetime Activites or maybe even hurrah Physical Fitness. thts all 4 now peace

Credits

Apparnetly you can't just graduate from HS with good gardes and honor roll stickers. You earn credits which I don't really get yet? Electives are .5 credits not sure if that like half a credit or something. And then the real "mandatory" classes you have to take are 1 credit. To graduate you need 4 credits in English 3 credits in "Global Village" social studies?, 3 credits in math :(, 3 credits in science, 1/2 in Health?, PE 1 credit apparently only 2 quaters of gym yay!, 1 credit in fine arts soo ill just do Theatre I and II, 5 1/2 in PLP? personal Learnig Plan?, and Pathway Electives 1 credit? whtever tht is class starting g2g brb with more HS info 4 all u eager firghtned freshamn!

Electives

Electives are classes that are kinda like explortory and there fun you get to choose them. The only sucky part is you might not get them. And the seniors get first picks:(

Actually I'm in school right now and we just got our first visit from the high school. They handed out these really ugly green packets on HS courses. The drawing on the front could pass as like my artwork HORRIBLE. ANyway the lady who talked to us is actually a sub for the guidance counsler who really does it. And honestly she didn't know anything at all. So its kinda exciting...get back 2 ya in a bit.
